New professor for Medical Data Science
The Faculty of Medicine has appointed Prof. Dr. Julian Varghese to the W3 professorship for Medical Data Science. He is an expert in medical informatics, studied human medicine and computer science and completed his doctorate at the University of Münster in 2015.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Lisa Underberg was appointed to the Chair of Digital Automation Systems. Her research focuses on the increased use and integration of wireless communication in industrial automation systems.
